Duo Display is a French live communication solutions manufacturer, producing visual displays, display walls, banner stands and point of sale accessories. The team approached Aimbulance with a task of ground-up reinvention of the brand for the purpose of matching expectations and needs of the market tied to live events that was completely transformed by COVID-19 and EU sustainability policies.
A temporarily declining market started valuing predictability in product delivery, support, pricing, and communication much more compared to pre-COVID age.
The product expectations shifted towards a perfect optimum between cost-effectiveness and reusability on the one hand, and visual ‘wow’ on the other.
Green regulations turned out to be a big factor of choice in EU and Canada, but not a deciding one. In the US and the Middle East, it turned out to be anon-factor.
We preserved and refreshed key visual assets of a brand that was a well-established name on the live communication market.
A visual update added subtlty and nuance to the brand appearance, making it look stunning on the large scale displays of 2020s, while implying minimalism, versatility, and green attitude.
In our audience research we learned that, in post-COVID live events market, operating on small margins and burdened by logistical costs, the most sought after qualities are reliability and well-honed support and delivery process.
So we coined the slogan that addressed the challenge of the time: standing with you.
